Lifestyle: 20th Anniversary
In 2008 Humberside Police celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Lifestyle project, the project’s aims being to encourage team spirit within young people and to focus their summer holidays into activities to promote active citizenship, social responsibility and community spirit.
Each year Eon Media is commissioned to produce the promotional video which goes to all the schools across the Humberside Police area and is used to encourage students to organise themselves into teams and undertake useful community activities during the school summer holiday. Examples of projects include gardening, helping neighbours and graffiti removal.
Lifestyle culminates in November with a prestigious awards ceremony dubbed the ‘jewel in the crown’ by Humberside Chief Constable Tim Hollis. This year the awards evening is event managed by Eon Media. |
